I started this blog because I’ve always fancied myself as a writer. I’ve also got opinions & random thoughts that need a place outside of my head.
I’m married to the most patient, adorable man on the planet. I can’t believe that he not only loves me but finds my bizarre thoughts entertaining.
Here’s the run down on me so far. I’m 34, Minnesota born & I lived there until January 2010 when we moved to South Dakota. I am a mom– finally! After nearly 8 years we now have a beautiful baby boy. He is perfect & amazing. We also have 3 dogs (lab/Irish setter). They are our protectors & road blocks. Living where we are now is good. We are closer to my family–I’m the oldest of 8 & we are growing like crazy. However, we miss our family up in northern Minnesota very much. The years we spent up there & the memories that we shared are very precious.
I am an avid reader & devour books rather than just read them. The speed at which I fly through the thickest book astounds some people. It has become a joke when I buy a book for a trip because it never lasts long enough. Exploring & taking photos of those adventures is something I love to do. We love to take random day trips to see the lay of the land. Now with a kid we are hoping to instill that into him. Meanwhile I am an OCD, depressed girl with a fetish for office supplies.
