    “tears streak the windows to the soul” is an amazing line, you don;t even need to add “with deep pain”. I already knew that from the first part of that line.

    As for the message, don;t we always rip out our heart and place it at our lover’s feet, never certain whether he/she will caress or crush? Making yourself vulnerable to someone you love will always be a worthy price to pay, even if the relationship ends up in ashes- how bright that fire burned at one time! It is worth it. you are worth it.

    Thanks for this dark, painful, yet liberating poem. you are learning and growing!

      I love too easily & have been guarding myself from feeling that pain for a long time now. Something in our communication has cracked that carefully held guard. I am letting Beloved Sir in (along with you) to places I have long hidden & denied even from myself. It is worth the price but I fear
      the pain and am afraid to hold on too tightly. My heart & soul ache. Losing something so precious has the power to destroy me….yet I feel you pushing me to burn brighter. We are both worth it!

      You are welcome for this as for many other things. Someday I’d like to write lyrics I think…
