So this was supposed to be a big weekend for us. We had great fun plans with family to cut down a Christmas tree, decorate the house & watch cheesy films the headliner being “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation”. However, none of that happened. Mother Nature has intervened here and we are getting an honest to goodness, old-fashioned snow storm. If only it holds out so I can skip work tomorrow. So my weekend has been filled with very little. I’m feeling a tremendous sense of ennui today. Hibernating would be an ideal situation. I have nothing exciting to share so if the 2 people (Hi Mom!) who read my blog would like to share their favorite Christmas traditions please do. Hopefully I’ll have something more interesting to share after my birthday & next week still holds much promise. out my picture window

I have mote of a favorite winter game than holiday tradition. Since its mostly played during the winter I shall share it. You should not be vistiing. Oh those were the days! Deer hunting was also a good one. My favorite holiday tradition would have to be when all the kids would choose a kind of Christmas cookie and make it. YUM!

    Hey Becci!

I have no traditions with Dan, Grace, and Audrey. I plan on trying to have more tradtitions when the littlest gets older.

My favorite traditions of childhood are putting up the Christmas tree, decorating cookies with my family, having surf and turf for Christmas dinner when we couldn’t be in the States with my extended family, St. Nicholas day putting our shoes out, and opening the advent calendar every morning and chowing on some chocolate.

    Christmas rocks.

You should not be visiting….I missed most of that being in college. Refresh my memory.
